Celebrities Go Crazy For The Cosy Shopper!

Now available at Shop On Your Doorstep.  We love these cosy shoppers and we're sure you will too!

As a mother of 4 young children, this is such a simple idea, with a clear need, I only wish I'd come up with it myself!  Wishing Lisa and her husband every success with this wonderful product.

Lisa’s invention is a hit with some well known faces...

Hundreds of mums around the country have already discovered The Cosy Shopper and have let us know how much they love the concept, but the innovative baby-product has been recently getting positive feedback of the celebrity kind!

Jadene Bircham, wife of Queens Park Rangers football player Marc Bircham, is a busy mum of 4 and lives in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. As well as running her own model and PR agency, you may recognise her from ITV2 show ‘Wag’s Boutique’, on which her team the ‘Better Half’ won. Jadene was also seen on ‘Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush’, a Channel 4 light entertainment show presented by Chris Evans in the 90s. Jadene said of the Cosy Shopper: ‘I just love it! It’s such a brilliant idea and I would most definitely use it on a daily basis. It makes such a great gift too, as it’s unique and quirky. It’s a niche product that has a specific market and knows its target audience, which is why I think it will do so well.’

Alex Best, ex-wife of footballer George, has a successful career in modelling and TV presenting. She appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’ in 2004, from which she donated her entire winnings to her local children’s hospital in Tadworth. She is heavily involved in numerous other charity ventures, including the Northern Irish charity Aids 2000 and SPARKS, which raises funds for research on medical conditions affecting babies and children. Alex gave the Cosy Shopper as a gift to one of her friends who had recently given birth: ‘She was really thrilled it! We both thought that it was a great product in the way that it was so practical and easy to use, yet still managed to look stylish. So many baby products are all about function and not fashion, but my friend was proud to put her baby in her carrier with her Cosy Shopper!’

Lizzie Cundy is another member of the footballer’s wives club, appearing on related shows such as ‘Wag’s World’ on Wedding TV, and ‘Wags to Riches’ on BBC3. Previously married to former England football defender Jason Cundy, Lizzie is now a successful celebrity in her own right, with a thriving acting and modelling career. She has also turned her hand to TV presenting, and has made regular TV appearances on ITV1 morning shows ‘Daybreak’ and ‘This Morning’, along with Sky News among others. She is the proud mother of two gorgeous boys, Josh and James and is heavily involved with the Everyman charity for testicular cancer, after her ex-husband contracted the disease. He has since made a full recovery.

Lizzie gave this feedback on the Cosy Shopper: ‘I think this is such a useful product, as so many mums out there have the same problem with the weekly supermarket trip. I used to struggle with my boys when they were small, as they weren’t the biggest fans of shopping, and still aren’t! If I’d have had the Cosy Shopper back then, I’m sure there would have been fewer tears. If your child is happy and comfortable, then so are you. I love the fact that it’s easy to take on and off, and pop into the washing machine. It still looks good as new after several washes, which you tend to do a lot of with young babies! Any respectable ‘yummy mummy’ shouldn’t be seen without the Cosy Shopper!’

Rachel Stevens is perhaps the most current celebrity who owns a Cosy Shopper; many younger customers will recognise her from her S-Club 7 days, and more recently her stint on BBC 1’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2008, in which she came second with her partner Vincent Simone. As dance partners, the pair hold the record for the most ‘perfect 10s’ ever achieved in any series of the show. After S-Club 7 split in 2003, Rachel launched a solo career and went on to release 7 singles and 2 albums between over the next two years. She has led a quieter life the past few years, and after marrying boyfriend Alex Bourne in 2009, they announced that Rachel was expecting their first child a year later. Baby Amelie was born on 16th of November 2010, so the Cosy Shopper was the perfect gift to greet the new arrival. ‘Amelie adores it!’ said Rachel, ‘and so do I, because she’s clean and comfortable in her carrier wherever we go. It’s been a godsend since she was born, and I think it’s such an attractive product for a reasonable price, too. It’s achievable for the vast majority of mums, and if you think how many times you will use it in a year, you will definitely be getting your money’s worth! The range of different colours is really eye-catching and you can select one that really reflects your baby’s personality, so you get a unique product every time.’

It’s refreshing to see that despite their success and frequent media attention, these ladies are still real women with families to care for. The Cosy Shopper makes this task less stressful and more enjoyable for any mum, even celebrity ones!
